Commercial Property Solicitor (2 yrs PQE+, Glasgow) – Harper Macleod LLP
We are looking to recruit a Commercial Property solicitor to join our property practice. Due to recent successes and increased work for our clients, our Glasgow Real Estate team, led by Partners John Meehan and David Bell, has a variety of work in investment, development, property finance, retail and utility/infrastructure areas offering the opportunity for a responsive and driven lawyer who will be given direct client contact, business development and support to make the most of their talent
The role will involve general commercial property work including acting for both landlords and tenants in commercial leases; the purchase and sale of investment properties; offering commercial property support to our corporate and banking teams; the management of clients’ property portfolios, including refinancing; property and land development, joint venturing and generally assisting our clients in various sectors in particular in relation to retail, office and industrial property.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of 2 years PQE and are expected to have experience of dealing with commercial property and an appetite to further their knowledge, skills and business development. The successful applicant will perform a role dealing with a wide variety of client transactions and exhibit the ability to work confidently in a fast-moving environment with a commercial approach.
