And finally… bake-off

A woman has admitted providing cannabis brownies to her friends – who then panicked and called an ambulance.

Elena Ravizza, 24, is due to be sentenced after pleading guilty to possession of the Class B drug at Dundee Sheriff Court.

The court heard that Ms Ravizza provided the cannabis to her friends, who had all agreed to make and eat the brownies, The Courier reports.

However, they soon felt ill and called an ambulance, which took them from their holiday home in Balmerino to Ninewells Hospital. Police were later called.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael deferred sentencing for three months and ordered Ms Ravizza to be of good behaviour in the meantime.
