Bloomsbury Professional makes Scots law textbooks free to all students

Bloomsbury Professional, the Scots law and tax publisher, has produced a brand new online service for all Scots law students who are currently in lockdown with exams looming.

Karen Reid, marketing manager of Bloomsbury’s Scottish operation said: “At this unprecedented time, Bloomsbury Professional is delighted to support all law students across Scotland who no longer have access to their law libraries.

“We have rolled out our free Scots Law Student Service Online to thousands of students so they can access essential textbooks while revising for exams remotely.”

The free online service will run until the end of this term and allow students to access their key legal textbooks from home, including:

  • Gretton & Steven: Property Trusts and Succession
  • MacQueen & Thomson: Contract Law in Scotland
  • Thomson: Family Law in Scotland
  • Dewart & MacQueen: Studying Scots Law
  • Himsworth & O’Neill: Scotland’s Constitution: Law and Practice
  • Guthrie: Social Work Law in Scotland

Paula O’Connell, managing editor at Bloomsbury Professional Scotland, added: “We have a leading list of Scots Law student textbooks and many years’ experience in providing the legal community in Scotland with authoritative content in print and digital formats. We are pleased to be able to support Scots law students in this challenging time and wish them all the best of luck in their upcoming exams and assignments.”
