Bobby Lindsay joins Glasgow University School of Law

Bobby Lindsay has been appointed a lecturer in private law at the University of Glasgow. 

Mr Lindsay studied for his LLB at Glasgow and for the BCL at the University of Oxford, before returning to Glasgow to complete his PhD.

He will teach international private law, delict, and corporate insolvency, and also will be the mooting coordinator for the School of Law.

He is also a research assistant for Professor Ewan McKendrick at Oxford, assisting with the preparation of the 5th edition of Goode on Commercial Law, with responsibility for the chapters on the conflict of laws, corporate insolvency, and the law of guarantees.

He told Scottish Legal News: “I am very proud to be joining the staff at the School of Law, nine years after coming to Glasgow as an overwhelmed undergraduate.

“It is a privilege to be able to call the staff members from whom I have learned much colleagues, and I look forward to getting to know our dedicated and insightful students.”

The university was recently ranked second in the UK for law in the Complete University Guide 2019.
