Brodies’ infrastructure team secures key project appointments
Brodies LLP has been appointed to advise hub South East Scotland Limited on a number of primary and secondary school projects in East Lothian, West Lothian and Edinburgh.
Brodies’ infrastructure team, which includes experts in infrastructure, procurement, finance and construction, will work with hub South East Scotland Limited on a series of projects including Castlebrae High School, the Winchburgh Education Campus and Wallyford High School, which are all due to be delivered in the next few years.
This is the latest in a number of infrastructure appointments for Brodies which include a place on the Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council Framework; working with Abellio on its successful bid to operate the East Midlands Railway passenger rail franchise and with other franchise operators; and with Perth & Kinross Council on the Cross Tay Link Road.
The firm has also recently added to its team with the appointment of infrastructure specialist, Stuart Murray as senior associate.
Mr Murray joins Brodies from Pinsent Masons and brings with him extensive experience advising project sponsors, authorities, contractors and funders on a wide range of social and economic infrastructure PPP programmes in the UK and Ireland in the education, health, student accommodation, waste water, municipal waste and transport sectors
