Terra Firma Chambers has announced that Fergus Colquhoun has joined the stable.
Prior to calling, Mr Colquhoun trained with an Edinburgh private client firm, gaining extensive experience in most aspects of urban and rural property law, trust law, and taxation.
After qualifying, he worked for a year in-house on a Highland estate overseeing the voluntary registration of title, and providing legal advice pertaining to all areas of the business.

Terra Firma’s Alasdair Burnet, was one of Mr Colquhoun’s devilmasters, said: “I am confident that Fergus will be an excellent addition to the stable. He has a wide range of legal knowledge including a keen interest in all aspects of the finer points of Scottish property and trust law.”
Mr Colquhoun said: “I am thrilled to be joining Terra Firma Chambers as I call to the bar. With the help of Emma and her team, I look forward to building a practice which lives up to the stable’s reputation for excellence.”
