Hard work paid off for three Gildeas employees recently when they graduated with paralegal qualifications.

Jodie McGregor and Marilyn McKee from the firm’s Edinburgh office and Michelle Wright, who is based in Glasgow, undertook the specialist paralegal qualification in reparation law through Central Law Training and will now continue their careers as paralegals with Gildeas.

Following her graduation ceremony, Ms McGregor said: “I joined Gildeas in 2016 with no background in reparation law and since then I have really enjoyed expanding my knowledge, learning new skills and supporting our clients who have suffered injuries and other losses.

“I am very grateful for the opportunity to enrol on the paralegal course and I have received great support from Gildeas throughout my studies. I am excited to continue my career with Gildeas and look forward to the future as a paralegal with the firm.”

Gildeas director Sanjeev Bali said: “I would like to congratulate Jodie, Marilyn and Michelle for achieving these qualifications in Reparation Law.

“Gildeas is committed to investing in our people and we aim to support staff who wish to further their skills, knowledge and qualifications.”

He added: “A number of our directors and senior managers are a product of our succession planning strategy to promote key individuals from within.”
