In pictures… Eminent legal figures visit Dentons in Glasgow
Via Dentons’ partner Michael Dean: “It’s not every day you welcome international judges; the Lord Provost of the City and eminent international law academics to the office for a chat over a drink! Being one of the most international law firms, Dentons was delighted to host an informal drinks gathering in our Glasgow office. This was on the eve of a roundtable discussion on the threats to international adjudication and the rules-based international order, often from action or inaction from governments around the world.
“We were delighted that Kimberly Prost, Canadian judge on the International Criminal Court, had joined us, as had Lord Bonomy, retired senior judge on the Court of Session and former judge on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Lord Provost of Glasgow, Eva Bollander, being interested in advancing Glasgow’s position on human rights, graced the informal get together and spoke about Nelson Mandela’s links with the city.”
