Justice Ginsburg, known to her fans as the “Notorious RBG”, will appear as a Lego figure clothed in judicial garb.

While she has not done voice work for the movie, she has granted filmmakers permission to use her likeness.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part is a sequel to 2014’s The Lego Movie and is due to be released on February 8.

The film’s producers, Chris Miller and Phil Lord, said they were “trying to think of people who should be immortalised in Lego and who seem fun at weddings” when they settled on including Justice Ginsburg.
