Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has announced the return of Laura Boswell as an associate in its agricultural and rural property team in Glasgow.

Ms Boswell worked with WJM from 2006 to 2013, before spending a few years working in a rural practice in South Lanarkshire. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in agricultural law and has held that accreditation since 2013.

She has over 15 years’ experience in agricultural and rural property, ranging from the purchase and sale of farms, estates and forestry, to advising on agricultural tenancies, crofting issues, renewable energy options and leases, complex title issues, servitudes and telecoms leases.

Ms Boswell will split her time between working in the Glasgow office, and working from home on her family farm on the Ayrshire/Lanarkshire border.

Head of WJM’s property team Andy McFarlane said: “We’re delighted to welcome Laura back. She offers the highest level of expertise in this area and we know that is complimented by her service delivery.

“That skillset will enhance the services we already offer to our agricultural and estate clients in our Inverness, Dunblane and now Dunfermline offices, as well as Laura’s traditional stomping ground of Lanarkshire and the west.”
