A former nurse who posed as a male lawyer in order to dupe women into sending her nude photos has been jailed for three years at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.

Adele Rennie, 28, targeted three women mere weeks after having been freed for the same crime, The Sun reports.

The mother of two used the name “Dan Crolla” to reserve a table at So L.A. in Glasgow but her victim became suspicious and called police after reading about Ms Rennie’s previous schemes.

She used images of Craig Dunn, a model, to trick the women, telling them she was a lawyer from Troon who drove a Jaguar and enjoyed working out and hill climbing.

Prosecutor Ruairidh Ferguson said: “She confirmed a booking was made under Dan Crolla.

“DC Dempster spoke with Rennie’s monitoring officer who confirmed that the number used to make the booking for So L.A. was the same as Rennie’s number which was registered with police.”

Mr Dunn, from Sunderland, found out his photos had been used when the police contacted him.

He said at the time: “She was using my image to try and get naked photos of these women.”

Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane said: “You have behaved in a cold and calculated way in order to humiliate, hurt and harass other people who have done absolutely nothing to deserve it.”
