LLB exams to go ahead as Edinburgh Law School moves online

Edinburgh Law School has closed down and all teaching and assessment has moved online, following the advice of the UK and Scottish governments.

LLB exams, however, will proceed and will be conducted online.

Exams are proceeding to ensure that those students who require a pass in first and second year courses in order to acquire professional accreditation will be able to do so.

The Law Library is now closed. The library’s electronic resources remain available, and efforts are underway to expand these as quickly as possible. The Main Library remains open, though students should monitor the university library’s webpages for details of revised opening hours and services.

It is very likely that Old College and the Law Annex at Holyrood Road will close entirely. This will mean that no access to the buildings will be possible, and any belongings stored on the premises that students or staff should be removed as soon as possible, the law school said.
