Murray Alexander Sinclair

Mr Sinclair had been director of the Scottish Government Legal Directorate since 2007.

He was much loved by all his family: his mother, Kathleen, his children, Cameron and Mhairi, former wife Aileen, aunts and cousins, his partner, Shirley and her daughters, Kate, Clare and Bea, and her parents, Gordon and Jill.

He was also admired, loved and respected by his colleagues and friends and will be greatly missed.

After a private family cremation on 13 October, a service will be held to celebrate his memory at the Playfair Library, Old College, University of Edinburgh on Sunday, 14 October 2018 at 12 for 12.30, to which all are welcome.
