New partners strengthen Harper Macleod in Edinburgh

Harper Macleod has announced two new Partners have joined the business, strengthening the firm’s Edinburgh operation.

Jennifer Jack (pictured, left) has joined from DWF and Sophie Coffey (pictured, right) has joined from Brodies, with both appointments coming as the firm prepares to move from Melville Street into new offices at Citypoint, Haymarket later this month.

Jennifer Jack, a dispute resolution specialists with extensive experience advising clients in the public sector, formerly headed DWF’s local and central government sector team in Scotland.

She is ranked in the top band in both Administrative & Public Law and Civil Liberties & Human Rights by the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession, which describes her as an “extremely calm, considered and experienced lawyer”.

Sophie Coffey brings a wide range of experience in advising clients on Scottish, cross-border and renewables transactions, and will work closely with Harper Macleod’s Banking & Finance and Restructuring & Insolvency teams.
