Robert Sutherland raises funds for Children 1st

Advocate Robert Sutherland, of Terra Firma Chambers, is undertaking three fundraising challenges between July 2021 and March 2022 to raise money for Children 1st, which provides essential support and help for abused and vulnerable children in Scotland.
The first event was a 22 mile walk around Edinburgh’s “7 Summits”: The Castle, Corstorphine Hill, Craiglockart Hill, Braids Hill, Observatory Hill, Arthur’s Seat, and Calton Hill – that took place on 17 July. It turned out to be one of the hottest days in Edinburgh this year.
The second challenge event is a Highland Triple near Fort William over the weekend of 31 July and 1 August.
Day 1 involves cycling along forest tracks, and whitewater river canoeing. Day 2 is an ascent of Ben Nevis. The third challenge is a return to Fort William for a winter ascent of Ben Nevis.
