Scots lawyers in new Ian Rankin series for Channel 4 – Murder Island
A new six-part Channel 4 series that blends drama with reality TV and competition in a single programme will begin tonight.
A body is discovered. A murder investigation begins. But this is no ordinary mystery, but one set by crime writer Ian Rankin as eight ordinary members of the public compete to find the killer.
Murder Island has been filmed on the Isle of Gigha and features defence lawyers Aamer Anwar, Bobby Reid and Claire Mitchell QC, who will play the part of prosecutor.
The first episode of Murder Island will be broadcast tonight at 9.30pm.
