SYLA event: Starting from scratch - first-time buyers

The Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association (SYLA) is hosting an event in collaboration with Tilney Group for first-time buyers.
“Starting from Scratch - First-Time Buyers” will be held on Thursday 12 November at 12.30pm.
The event will be presented by Nadia Atanasov, financial planner, Tilney Group, who will look at saving for a property, and aspects first-time buyers should consider.
Gordon McCulloch, partner, DM Hall Chartered Surveyors, will share the key things you should know about a home report – including myths and misconceptions.
Nicola Nicolson, senior associate, Ledingham Chalmers LLP, will discuss the fees involved in buying your first house and will answer the common question; “I have seen a house I like, what do I need to do now?”.
Finally, Craig Spalding, mortgage & protection adviser, Stisi Group will cover mortgages as a first-time buyer.
