Terra Firma Chambers' 2020 Vision: Bringing Clarity to Insolvency Law

Following the success of its first lockdown webinar this week, Local Government in Challenging Times, Terra Firma Chambers has announced a further series of webinars entitled “2020 Vision”, which will be a virtual replacement for its annual seminar ‘roadshow’.

The first of these, “2020 Vision: Bringing Clarity to Insolvency Law”, will be broadcast on Zoom at 11am on Tuesday, 5 May. Chaired by Michael Howlin QC, this 1 hour webinar will feature four short talks covering a range of insolvency related issues:-

David Logan: Insolvency: the contractual implications

Michael Howlin QC: Company Administration under the Insolvency Act

Ewen Brown: Wrongful trading in lockdown

Bill Frain-Bell: Forthcoming changes to corporate insolvency law in the wake of CV19

Over the coming weeks, Terra Firma members will bring further clarity on a range of subjects in its core practice areas. Further details of these events and topics to be covered will be published on its website and on Scottish Legal News.

The webinar has been accredited for 1 hour of CPD for members of Faculty and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession. Terra Firma welcomes any questions in advance and these should be emailed to seminars@terrafirmachambers.com.

There is no registration fee but prior booking is necessary. To register for this event, please click here. If you do not already have a Zoom account you can sign up for free.
