Terra Firma toddler joins Captain Tom in Walk for NHS

Inspired by the extraordinary exploits of Captain Tom Moore, the slightly younger Lincoln (aged one), son of Terra Firma deputy clerk Tracy Whitelaw, has embarked on his own daily garden walk to help raise funds for the NHS.

Lincoln took his first unaided steps during week one of lockdown. He will now join Captain Tom in a walk across the generational divide by attempting 100 unaided laps of his garden path (approximately 25 steps each way).

Tracy will keep Lincoln on the straight and narrow with a minimum of 10 circuits daily – an impressive 500 steps per day!

Sadly, Lincoln’s grandma passed away shortly before lockdown having spent five weeks in the great care of NHS staff in the Western General Hospital. NHS Charities Together supports NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
