The Faculty of Procurators and Solicitors in Dundee has elected Vicki Bell as its new Dean.

Ms Bell, a procurator fiscal, takes over from Amanda Wilson, who was part of the Dundee Faculty Committee for six years.

Claudia McEachen, a senior solicitor at Digby Brown, is now the Vice-Dean having spent the last two years as committee secretary and treasurer. Lee Corr, a senior solicitor at Thorntons Solicitors, has joined the committee as the secretary and treasurer.

One of the roles of the Faculty, founded in 1820, is to represent the views of its local solicitor members, including during government consultations on proposed changes to the law.
