The eighth book in Willie McIntyre’s Best Defence series, Good News Bad News, is released today ahead of a launch party on May 5.

Willie (pictured) said: “This is the eighth in the Best Defence Series. Each book is a standalone and it’s unnecessary to have read all the others in order (though nice if people would).

“This week there is a ‘Blog Tour’ with various reviewers reporting on the book via social media. The first three books have been optioned for TV.”

Good News Bad News book is officially released today as an eBook and paperback, available at all good bookshops. For a limited period the Amazon Kindle eBook will be on special offer.

More details about the series and the launch party which is on 5th may are available on Willie’s website: www.bestdefence.biz

Life is full of good news and bad news for defence lawyer Robbie Munro in his latest outing: “Good news is he’s in work, representing Antionia Brechin on a drugs charge – unfortunately she’s the granddaughter of notorious Sheriff Brechin. His old client Ellen has won the lottery and she’s asked Robbie to find her husband Freddy who’s disappeared after swindling Jake Turpie, but he’s not willing to bury the hatchet – unless it’s in Freddy’s head.”

But as Robbie juggles cases and private life with his usual dexterity, he finds that “the more he tries to fix things the more trouble everyone’s in”.
