Volume 8 of the Aberdeen Student Law Review is now complete and will be officially launched next Tuesday at the university.

The Aberdeen Student Law Review (ASLR) is an academically peer-reviewed journal written and edited by students of the University of Aberdeen’s Law School.

Only the second of its kind in Scotland, the inaugural issue was launched in July 2010 by founding managing editor Dominic Scullion and the editorial board.

Editors-in-chief Kieran Buxton and Ezgi Ediboglu said: “We are delighted to have a wide variety of topical issues - which are of international relevance - addressed by the published articles in Volume 8. We are looking forward to celebrating the launch of the latest volume and we would like to thank everyone for their support over the past year.”

The launch event will be in Meeting Room 1 & Breakout Room, Floor 7, Sir Duncan Rice Library 6pm for 6.15pm on Tuesday 20 March.

Anyone interested in attending who is not a student or staff member of the University of Aberdeen must email aslr@abdn.ac.uk in advance to indicate their intention to attend. You might not be permitted access to the library if you do not do this before attending.
