The Aberdeen Law Project’s representation team has announced the launch of its new advice note service.

The service aims to provide individuals with advice and opinions on one-off issues that do not require extensive legal representation and operates alongside the regular clinic.

Freya Stephen, director of representation, said: “This service widens the scope of our assistance, helping to bridge the access to justice gap and ensuring that individuals who are unable to afford a solicitor receive the support they need.”

Patrick Alexander, lead researcher, added: “Our new advice note service is an incredibly exciting opportunity. The research team is honoured to offer this service to the community.”
