Aberdein Considine smashes 40th anniversary fundraising target
Teams from across Aberdein Considine have raised more than £50,000 as part of their charity fundraising programme during the last 12 months.
To help mark its 40th anniversary, the firm aimed to raise at least £40,000 to support four Children’s Hospital Charities across Scotland and the North East of England. The firm has exceeded its goal, with an impressive total of over £53,000 having been raised so far.
The charities which will benefit are:
- The Archie Foundation – Aberdeen
- Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity
- Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity
- The Great North Children’s Hospital Foundation – Newcastle
Aberdein Considine managing partner Jacqueline Law said: “The last few years have been extremely tough for many people across the country and supporting the communities in which our employees live and work has been extremely rewarding.
“Our colleagues have made extraordinary efforts, not only raising vital funds, but having fun along the way. We’ve witnessed incredible acts of bravery, such as skydiving and firewalking, as well as gruelling endurance events. One team undertook a 24-hour exercise challenge, and another successfully conquered seven Munros in a single day! Alongside these achievements, our teams have come together to organise social events including a delightful teddy bears’ picnic, a disco that spanned the ages and an exhilarating battle of the bands event.”
