Aberdein Considine wins accolade for banking work
Aberdein Considine has been awarded a top honour at a UK legal award ceremony.
The firm’s governance, risk and compliance team was one of the winners at the Northern Law Awards 2019, held in Newcastle last night.
It picked up Law Practice Management Award, with judges praising the firm for the work it does with the UK’s biggest banks and building societies.
Aberdein Considine’s Lender Services Practice Group (LSPG) is a specialist provider of volume banking litigation support to multiple global banking giants, including Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group.
Myra Scott, partner in charge of LSPG, said the delivery of these services would not be possible without the support of the governance, risk and compliance team.
“The talented people in this team are the unsung heroes of LSPG and play a key role in upholding the quality of the volume legal services we provide to our valued lender clients,” she said.
“The award comes almost three years to the day since we first expanded these services into England and Wales and since then we’ve been working hard to build the experienced and talented team in our Newcastle HQ.
“This award gives us a great platform to grow even more of our Scottish banking litigation relationships into multi-jurisdictional partnerships across the whole of the UK.”
