Addleshaw Goddard to support The Honeypot Children’s Charity
Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has announced The Honeypot Children’s Charity as its UK charity partner following a vote.
Honeypot supports children aged 5-12 who are young carers for a sick or disabled parent or sibling. The charity provides a range of continuous services that meets the multiple needs of each individual, including respite breaks, educational booster breaks, wellbeing grants, healthy eating and nutrition and pastoral support.
These services reduce the anxiety and stress of caring, help children to build confidence to succeed in their education, meet the basic needs that no child should be without and help each child to reach their full potential.
The new partnership will see Honeypot receive the proceeds from AG’s regular fundraising and donation efforts as well as being provided with volunteering and pro bono legal support.
In Ireland, the firm will support Jigsaw, The National Centre for Youth Mental Health, providing fundraising, donations, volunteering and free legal advice.
The charities, whose objectives both align with AG’s CSR mission to help young people unlock their full potential, were chosen based on votes from over 1200 UK and Ireland staff. AG will support the charities for the next three years.
Aster Crawshaw, senior partner at Addleshaw Goddard, said: “It is a privilege to partner with two charities that make such a meaningful difference to the lives of young people.
“We look forward to working with both Honeypot and Jigsaw to raise vital funds for their support and outreach programmes.”
