Advocate to lead Singapore training programme
A member of the Faculty of Advocates will lead a training programme at the prestigious Energy Studies Institute (ESI) in Singapore.
Steven Walker (pictured) has been invited to lead the ESI’s specialist professional seminar training programme aimed at the global energy industry.
The ESI, a multi-disciplinary and autonomous think tank based at the National University of Singapore, is South East Asia’s first think tank examining energy issues. Its work looks at energy economics, energy security and energy’s relationship with the environment.
The revolving, 12-month training programme led by Walker begins in September.
Walker said: “The programme will be delivered in Singapore, and in other parts of South East Asia, by Terra Firma Chambers and leading international law firms.
“This demonstrates the involvement of the Scottish Bar internationally, including in the global energy industry.”
