Alasdair Sutherland raises money for Movember

Burness Paull partner Alasdair Sutherland is raising money in aid of Movember – an annual event in which participants grow moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and men’s suicide.
Mr Sutherland states on his fundraising page: “I lost three friends to suicide within the space of six months last year. All of their circumstances were very different, but each one came as a shock. It’s impossible to say if things might have been different if they had been more open about their struggles, but if the alternative is so final, what’s there to lose by trying.
“I have tried to be braver with confronting my own mental health struggles over the last twelve months and it’s not easy. Let’s all try and be that little bit braver and support each other – both giving each other that support and asking for it!”
