Alex M Adamson LLP accredited as Living Wage employer
Alex M Adamson LLPis among the first sheriff officers and debt collection agencies to join the Living Wage movement. This will see everyone working at the company, both permanent employees and third-party contractors, receive a minimum hourly wage of £8.75 per hour, as compared to the national minimum wage of £7.05.
The real UK Living Wage is an hourly pay rate based on the true cost of living which is calculated annually based on living costs in the UK. This UK wage rate is now voluntarily paid by over 3,600 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. As a result, over 150,000 UK employees have received a pay rise and the movement enjoys cross-party support.
