Alison McKay joins Lindsays in Glasgow
Alison McKay has joined Lindsays’ private client team in Glasgow.
She is experienced across the full range of private client work, including wills and powers of attorney, setting up trusts and providing estate planning advice.
Mrs McKay has 14 years of legal practice behind her, the last decade of which has been based with another firm in Glasgow. A graduate of the University of Dundee, she is also a legal diploma tutor at the University of Glasgow.
She said: “The private client team at Lindsays is so well regarded and I am delighted to have joined it. In making the next step in my career, I wanted to become part of an established team, with a good reputation for providing a quality service to clients. Lindsays is the standout firm for me in every regard.
“Securing strong legal advice when it comes to managing our personal affairs has never been more important. Changing family dynamics, the growth of digital assets and the tragic impact of the pandemic have brought about a real awakening about the importance of making sure we are clear in our wishes for all sorts of eventualities.
“I enjoy getting to know clients – often getting to know their friends and family also – while working with them to tailor the best arrangements for them.”
Grant Johnson, partner and head of private client at Lindsays, said: “Alison is a great fit for us, adding yet more strength to our team of experts. We are delighted to have her on-board.
“Her arrival reflects the growing demand for private client services that we are seeing across the firm as increasing numbers of people turn to us to secure good quality advice for them and their families.”
