Alistair Hindle Associates appoints new director

The Edinburgh based European patent attorney firm of Alistair Hindle Associates has announced that Dr Andrew McGettrick has been appointed as a director of the company.

Dr McGettrick joined Alistair Hindle Associates from a large Scottish patent attorney firm in 2012.

He has a PhD and MEng (with distinction) in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, and has built up substantial experience protecting inventions in the fields of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering while working in the patent profession. Dr McGettrick is the first new director to be appointed since the firm was incorporated in 2011.
