All welcome to book launch of Online Misogyny as a Hate Crime
Dr Kim Barker of Stirling Law School and Dr Olga Jurasz of the Open University Law School are hosting an evening reception at the Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh on 5 February 2019 to mark the launch of their new book: Online Misogyny as a Hate Crime: A Challenge for Legal Regulation.
The book assesses the current state of the law in this area and calls for reform of the law to ensure equality of participation online.
The evening will start with a panel discussion, with academics, journalists and MSPs, before moving to a Q&A, and will be followed by a drinks reception.
Attendance is free but registration is required. All are welcome (places are limited). Full information and registration details available via Eventbrite.
