And finally… cold snap
A man who escaped police custody in the middle of a snowstorm apparently turned himself in less than an hour later to escape the cold weather.
Demarkus Davis, 20, allegedly escaped from a police car on the way to a jail in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday night, when temperatures were as low as -10°C.
He fled in just jeans and a hoodie, while also being handcuffed, police said.
Less than 45 minutes later, Davis is said to have flagged down a car and asked the driver to call the police, ABC24 News reports.
He was subsequently taken to jail and now faces an additional charge of escape.
