And finally… banned books
A box left at the front door of a library prompted the arrival of a bomb squad – who discovered that it contained books.
Police arrived at the library in Deschutes County, Oregon and advised people nearby to stay inside as they dealt with the box.
A bomb squad technician X-rayed it, only to find it was full of books.
Lt. Chad Davis said of staff: “They don’t take donations. There was no note, or anything written on it. They were being diligent.”
“We don’t open boxes that are unknown to us, either,” he added.
