Solicitor Enda Lavery amused followers on LinkedIn with this photograph of the toilets at Downpatrick courthouse.
“In the age of diversity it’s good to see Downpatrick courthouse maintains certain standards,” he wrote.
He added: “I was speaking to a solicitor colleague who said he liked to get to court early and use the barristers’ loo. Obviously I have to keep his identity to myself!”
One commenter posed the question: “What about solicitor advocates then?”
Another said: “Separate toilets from the public facilities… can only dream of such a thing at the magistrates’ courts!”
