And finally… cat’s out the bag
A man accused of drunkenly speeding at more than 130 mph allegedly told police he was desperate to get home to see his cat.
Logan Mirmozaffari, 28, was arrested by police in Norwich, Connecticut early on Sunday morning, Daily Voice Norwich reports.
Connecticut State Police say he cited his cat when asked why he was driving faster than 130 mph in the middle of the night.
He was then asked to carry out a sobriety test, which he allegedly failed.
Mirmozaffari has been charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving and will appear in court next week.
Police have not provided any further information about his cat.
