A joint operation by two police forces succeeded in recovering 27 bags of ice stolen from a discount shop.
For whatever reason, the 27 bags of ice were stolen from a Family Dollar store in southern Ohio on Sunday, NBC4 WCMH-TV reports.
A pick-up truck carrying the ice was later spotted at a petrol station 13 miles away, where police swooped in to apprehend the two suspects.
The 27 bags of ice were returned to the Family Dollar, though it is unclear whether they were put back on sale.
Two people have been charged with theft.
