Police showed up to the family’s home in Wisconsin after the boy called 911 and said: “My mommy is being bad… Come and get my mommy.”

The boy’s mother then took the phone, explained that he was four and admitted that she “ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911”.

When officers arrived at the home, the boy confirmed that he had called about the ice cream and said she should go to jail, CNN reports.

The boy eventually relented and told police that he didn’t really want his mother imprisoned – he just wanted ice cream.
