Marks & Spencer has lodged legal proceedings against Aldi over its iconic “Colin the Caterpillar” cake.
The luxury retailer claims its discount rival has violated its intellectual property with its “Cuthbert the Caterpillar” cake.
Cuthbert is riding on the coat-tails of its long-established rival Colin, M&S alleges.
The High Court in London will be asked to order Aldi to remove the product from sale and refrain from selling similar products in the future, Sky News reports.
