And finally… don’t be evil
A car collecting 360-degree imagery for Google Street View led police on a 100mph chase before crashing into a small stream of water.
Police in Middletown, Indiana say the car, complete with Google livery and mounted cameras, was seen driving past a high school at more than 100mph, well in excess of a 55mph speed limit.
The driver refused to pull over but eventually lost control of the vehicle and crashed in a stream, FOX59 reports.
Driver Coleman Ferguson, 37, was subsequently arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
He allegedly told police that he worked for Google – whose erstwhile motto was “Don’t be evil” – and was “scared to stop” for police.
Google’s website says the Street View car is “our most used equipment for collecting imagery and has helped us capture more than 10 million miles around the world”.
