And finally… nightmare
A Russian blogger who shared a bizarre dream involving Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been fined 30,000 rubles (£386).
Ivan Losev, a 26-year-old in Siberia, wrote on Instagram about a dream where he was conscripted and then captured with his comrades by Ukrainian forces led by Zelenskyy himself.
He wrote: “At this moment, Zelenskyy walks past me and says ‘Oh, I’ve seen your stories on Instagram. Glory to Ukraine!’ I reply: ‘Glory to heroes!’ Zelenskyy pats me on the shoulder and approvingly says ‘Well, let this one go, and execute everyone else’.
“And then we stay together, watching all that, and I tell him ‘Can I get a selfie with you for my Instagram?’ and he says: ‘You can’.”
The Instagram post drew the attention of Russian security officials and Mr Losev was summoned to the district court in his city Chita.
He was found guilty of discrediting Russia’s armed forces and ordered to pay 30,000 rubles (around €450).
