And finally… in plane sight
A large piece of a plane which dramatically fell off mid-flight turned up in the back garden of a lawyer suing the plane’s manufacturer over unrelated safety issues.
New York attorney Jake Bissell-Linsk, whose firm is suing Boeing in relation to an incident in January where a plane door blew off mid-flight, spotted the missing piece from his window.
The piece in question was an emergency slide which fell off a Boeing plane around an hour after take-off and forced it to return to its origin airport late last week.
Airline officials had spent two days searching for the piece and collected it shortly after the lawyer reported seeing it from the window of his beachfront home.
“We haven’t decided if the slide is relevant to our case,” Mr Bissell-Linsk told the New York Post.
