And finally… in the frame
A notorious mobster has said he has no regrets about posing for a shirtless picture that led to his arrest and imprisonment.
Ralph DiMatteo, 68, was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment by a New York court after pleading guilty to extortion, conspiracy and money laundering offences, the New York Post reports.
He was caught after a photo showing him relaxing bare-chested in a Florida pool was unwisely posted to Twitter by his son.
DiMatteo, who prosecutors say is linked to the Colombo crime family, surrendered to authorities the next day.
Asked after sentencing if he now regretted posing for the photo, he reportedly said: “Why? It was a great picture.”
