And finally… it’s a gas
A man who alleges that his ex-supervisor repeatedly farted at him is set to hear whether his bid for £1 million in damages from his former employer will succeed.
David Hingst, 56, sued his company over the conduct of his former colleague Greg Short, who he says used to “fart behind me and walk away … five or six times a day” while he was working in a small room with no windows.
The Supreme Court of Victoria last year ruled that the Australian man had not been subject to bullying.
However, the case returned to the Court of Appeal on Monday and the court is set to deliver its ruling tomorrow, the BBC reports.
Mr Hingst said his ex-colleague’s behaviour caused him “severe stress”.
He is suing for $1.8 million AUD, the equivalent of £971,982 GBP.
