And finally… recorded delivery
A man has been arrested after police discovered his shipping label on the box containing three puppies he had abandoned at a car wash.
Arkansas man Jeremy Roberts, 20, was charged with three counts of animal cruelty after officers discovered the puppies.
According to a report by officer Ronald Amick, the two-month-old puppies were found in a box inside one of the wash bays.
“There was a shipping label attached to the box,” he said, explaining that the label contained Roberts’ name and address.
Amick and a colleague visited the address listed on the label and questioned Roberts. “After talking with Roberts about this incident, he then admitted to dumping the dogs,” Amick said.
Roberts was subsequently arrested and has since been released on bond.
