A man has appeared in court charged with the illegal possession of Viagra with intent to supply at an army barracks.
Tommy McEvoy (37) is accused of possessing the prescription-only drug Sildenafil (trade name Viagra) at Cathal Brugha Barracks in Rathmines and his his home in Co Wicklow.
He faces two charges of contravening the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations.
Judge Cormac Dunne postponed the case at Dublin District Court when defence solicitor Yvonne Bambury asked for more time to examine the charges.
