And finally… vanity case
A fugitive in Ohio sent local police a selfie after he objected to the mugshot they published online in a bid to track him down.
The 45-year-old, wanted in connection with arson and vandalism offences, sent a better picture - where he is sitting in his car and wearing stylish sunglasses - to the police, writing: “Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”
Donald “Chip” Pugh then rang a local radio station to complain further that police had “made me look like I was a Thundercat… or James Brown on the run. I can’t do that”.
The Lima Police Department published the new photo on Facebook and thanked Pugh for “being helpful”.
They added: “But now we would appreciate it if he would come to speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”
