And finally… what’s in a name?
An Indonesian man pulled over for speeding avoided a ticket and was given a job – because his name means “police”.
Sympathetic cops were stunned to meet 22-year-old construction worker Polisi, which is also the word for “police” in Indonesian.
A video of the traffic stop went viral on the country’s social media.
Instead of facing a traffic fine, Polisi has now begun work at the local police station, helping to conduct driving license tests
Erika Putra, head of the traffic police unit, told reporters: “Today Polisi has officially become part of the police family.”
