Anderson Strathern boosts residential property team with estate agency hire
Anderson Strathern has appointed Graham White as head of estate agency and sales as part of the strategy for growth in the firm’s residential property Team. Mr White is a specialist in valuation and residential sales marketing strategy and he has experience in the Edinburgh and Lothians market, with a particular focus on East Lothian.
Originally, from Haddington, he began his estate agency career in the competitive English marketplace, before returning to East Lothian in 2005 to local East Lothian firm Garden Stirling and Burnet, where he spent the majority of his years developing his skills and becoming an expert in the East Lothian market.
Prior to joining Anderson Strathern, Mr White had also worked as head of estate agency at large Edinburgh letting agent Braemore, where he was instrumental in setting up a private estate agency business from scratch.
Mr White is now delighted to be taking up the reins at Anderson Strathern and to be going back to his roots in East Lothian where he will be based in the firm’s Haddington office providing a proactive and innovative client service.
He said: “Anderson Strathern is trusted by private individuals, companies, government departments, education establishments, public sector bodies and commercial decision makers and I am committed to strengthening our offering and to raising the residential department to the highest possible level.
“In East Lothian in particular, Anderson Strathern’s private client practice and residential estate agency are the core elements of our business and people expect the best from us, so I am here to deliver it. I am looking forward to helping all of the local people with their selling, buying and residential property needs and to realise the marketing potential their home could have.”
Sara Jalicy, head of residential property, said: “Graham’s arrival is a huge coup for the firm. I can think of no one who possesses valuation and marketing experience quite like his and the East Lothian market is undoubtedly going to benefit hugely from his presence at our local office in Haddington, where he is based.”
