Anderson Strathern expands with three director appointments
Anderson Strathern has appointed three new directors.
Joanna Millar, a corporate and licensing specialist, Chambers-ranked solicitor with over 25 years’ experience joins as a corporate director. She is well versed in restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, refinancing and advising family businesses.
She has a large licensing practice covering the whole of Scotland and reaching into England and is a recognised expert in various areas of licensing, including short term lets. Ms Millar also tutors in licensing and advising the family business at the University of Strathclyde.
Anderson Strathern has also welcomed back Mary Frances O’Neill as litigation director, who joins from Brodies LLP.
She has extensive experience in major infrastructure projects, litigation and dispute resolution, project management and the public sector. In her previous spell at the firm she won the firm’s Best Newcomer award for her work on major projects.
Loraine Strachan, a senior leader in strategic transformation, finance and operations, joins Anderson Strathern as finance director, bringing a wealth of international experience across commercial sectors, consulting, and regulated professions.
She was previously executive director of finance and operations at the Law Society of Scotland. Prior to moving to Edinburgh, she was senior vice president at Menzies Aviation plc in South Africa.
